Week 4 Thursday Predictions 49ers @ Rams

49ers @ Rams

Ahh one thing that makes Football the greatest sport on Earth is that anyone can win on any given week.  But to go along with that, anyone can lose too.  These two teams puzzle me week in and week out.
Let's start with the Rams.  One week they'll look like a well-oiled machine.  Sam Bradford will make great throws, he'll have protection, and his receivers will make plays.  The next week, they'll go an entire half of football having a net gain of 15 yards.  The 49ers have baffled me and about 93 million other people who watch football.  You go from a Superbowl team with an electrifying offense, to having an offense that rivals having Rex Grossman at center.  The only thing that's been consistent about these teams has been the defense so far through the season.  Both teams have decent defensive units, but lack in the secondary.
Nevertheless, I believe one of these teams will pull out of their slump this week.  And the team that will do that is................................The R49ms.  Haha realisticly though, the 49ers front office needs to stop trying to turn Kaepernick into a pocket-passer.  He's not.  What he can do is get out and make plays like he did in the 2012 playoffs.  I realize that not being a pocket-passer has its many potential hazards, but those are going to be there anyway, so you might as well be a little riskier and win some games.  If the Niners unleash Kaepernick and let him play, they will win this game.  If not, this game will be all Rams.  I think that Harbaugh will see this and make the right decision.

NFL Week 3 Predictions

@
Andy Reid returns to Philly and he returns with the win. With the better defense he is able to exploit Vicks biggest weakness: Himself.
Chiefs

 @
Andre Johnson's injury is going to hurt the Texans, but equally important is Ray Rice's injury.  After a hard fought battle, Texans squeak out the win.
Texans

Both these quarterbacks have been struggling, but this game is where 1 gets back on track... and its not Newton.
Giants

Had RG3 been 100%, this game would be different.  But the Skins won't be able to slow down Megatron with that defense.
Lions
  @
In my eyes, the Chargers are a very underated team so far this season.  Coming from the west coast is always tough, but I think Philip Rivers finds a way to pull this one out.
Chargers

Drew Brees and the Saints are too good to bet against at home.
Saints

Tom Brady may be without viable recievers at the moment, and that will hurt him against tough teams.  He'll be ok agaist the Buccaneers though.
Patriots

The Bengals have the better defense, better running game, and a receiving core that rivals the Packers, but when it comes down to it this game comes down to one thing: Aaron Rodgers
Packers

I see this one being another close game, but in the end the Cowboys want this one a little more.
Cowboys

The Vikings have lost two close games.  There wont be a third this week.
Vikings

This game will be surprising close, but in the end the Falcons have too much fire power on offense for the dolphins defense to overcome.
Falcons

I've been extremely impressed with EJ Manuel over the past 2 weeks.  Not just his play, but his general poise and confidence.  I'll buy in.  The Bills got a steal.
Bills
 @
The 49ers were humiliated last Sunday Night.  Expect a big bounce-back game from Kaepernick.
49ers

This has gotta be the biggest blowout of the week.  The Jags are gonna DESTROY the Seahawks!... haha yeah right
Seahawks
 @
So far, Jay Cutler is thriving in Marc Trestman's offense.  Were finnnaly  getting to see the kind of quarterback he could have been for years with a good offensive line and some viable recievers.  On the flip side, the Steelers haven't looked this bad in years.  They'll keep it close, but in the end the Bears go 3-0.
Bears

Ok, I was wrong.... THIS is the biggest blowout of the week.
Broncos

Currrent Record : 27 - 5

NFL Opener

Ravens @ Broncos

The rematch everyone's been waiting for all offseason.  The Peyton Manning led Broncos take on the Superbowl champion Ravens.  I predict another hard fought game, but I think this time it will have the opposite result.

Broncos come away with the win.
